Your Crane’s Light Signal For Safer Lifting
The traffic light is an innovative and cost effective solution to show operators a clear indication of safe lifting parameters during overhead crane operations.
The crane working load is programmed in to the sensor, then at agreed % of working load, the traffic light will change colour based on agreed parameters. These settings are easily programmed and are easily customisable to ensure the system adapts to your crane’s specific working load limit (WLL) and operational needs.
The system uses a universally understood traffic light display to communicate load status. Example parameters shown below:
🟢 Green Light: 0-90% of working load – Safe to proceed.
🟡 Yellow Light: 90-99% of working load – Proceed with caution.
🔴 Red Light: 100%+ of working load – Stop immediately.
🔴 Flashing red light: indicates crane lock out due to overloading
Traffic Light connects wirelessly to any HoistNet connected load device to ensure operators have complete understanding and control over their lifting operations.
