Our Partners and Projects
Towne have created bespoke solutions to lifting issues on site for a wide range of clients including MHI Vestas, Siemens and Baker Hughes. These projects include
- Creation of a ‘Lifting Village’ at Siemens in Hull, covering all lifting services (see below)
- Management of all pre installation LOLER inspections, PA Testing and maintenance of kit for MHI Vestas
- Provision of staff training for Siemens, Baker Hughes, JDR Cables plus more
- Supply of cathodic protection wire slings to protect the offshore turbine towers
- Maintenance of electric hoists for Glid Windfarm
The Lifting Village
The village provided a far safer work environment, and reduced downtime. It meant that lifting equipment could be immediately certified, replaced, or repaired. Furthermore, our management of the equipment ensured its immediate replacement, and our skills in repair meant that equipment costs were reduced.
