The Towne Group of Companies have been manufacturers, suppliers and installers of quality lifting and securing equipment in the North of England since the 1940’s. Initially serving the trawler industry in Hull, the company has grown in both reputation and stature and now also has branches in Middlesbrough, Newcastle and Fleetwood, providing expertise in a wide range of lifting equipment products and associated services to all sectors of industry.

Our fully qualified engineers are able to carry out statutory detailed thorough examinations of all your lifting equipment backed up, if required, by non-destructive and load testing.

Our modern workshops are fully fitted with calibrated testing facilities (up to 200 te) and examination equipment to ensure our customers have complete peace of mind, happy in the knowledge that free advice on all lifting equipment matters is just a phone call away.Our site service teams carry out repairs, re-roping of cranes, load testing, NDT, installations, maintenance, specialist lifts and modifications to all areas of industry. We are approved distributors for worldwide companies such as Crosby Europe, Kuplex, Camlok, Gunnebo, Morris Material Handling, Tractel UK, Yale Industrial Products, English Braids, William Hackett, Pfaff, Walker Magnetics and Bridon Ropes.
