We are one of the few companies in the UK that have been approved by the Marine and Coastguards Agency (MCA) for Load Testing and Examination of Life Boats.


Towne Lifting and Testing have been approved by the Marine and Coastguard Agency (MCA) to the Independent Lifeboats Servicing and Testing Organisation (ILSTO).

This means we have the authority to examine and load test Lifeboats and Davits. Our trained and fully qualified team are available to travel UK wide and to European countries to carry out this service.
