All our branches are equipped with load testing machines, the largest of which can provide a 200 tonne tensile load tests, where required, on equipment undergoing "through examination".

In House Load Testing

The test beds are also used to carry out destruction tests on prototypes in order to verify design calculations and minimum breaking loads, and for information to be recorded in technical registers.

These tests are backed up, where required, with non-destructive testing such as Magnetic Particle Inspection.

All our testing machines and load cells are independently calibrated by a third party.

On Site Load Testing

Our site service teams have a large stock of test weights, which together with Load Cell indicators, are used for carrying out dynamic load tests on all types of cranes, derricks, lifting beams and structures.

Alternatively they may use water bags or hydraulic jacking rigs to provide the required load force up to 300 tonnes.

Please contact us to find out more about our in house load testing facilities.
